The Week of December 27-30, 2004

Over the past two weeks workers completed the sidewalks on Bainbridge Street and installed fencing at the H&R building and north areaway. Door trim work continued on the third floor. Duct work and electrical rough-in work continued on the third floor. Workers hung sheetrock on the third floor and in the history classroom. Accoustical panel work commenced on the first floor and mezzanine. Workers began resurfacing the Adams Avenue parking lot. They began installing the column covers in the history classroom. Paint touch-up and punch list work continued throughout. Elastomeric coating has almost been completed.

The Week of December 20-24, 2004

The Week of December 11-18, 2004

Workers bagan to pour concrete for the sidewalks on Bainbridge Street and Adams Avenue. They began trim work on the third floor. Final touch-up painting continued in the reference room and mezzanine. Duct work rough-in continued on the third floor. Exterior painting continued.

The Week of December 6-10, 2004

The Week of November 29-December 3, 2004

Workers poured concrete for the new Adams Avenue entrance. Also, preliminary to moving into the new wing, staff closed public access to the third floor museum galleries and began to move artifacts to other temporary storage areas within the building.

Also, workers completed the raised flooring on the third floor. Marble casework on the second floor continued. Elastomeric coating on the west side exterior commenced. Plaster work began in the history classroom. Plumbing fixtures were set on the first and second floors. Wallpapering was completed.
