An Introduction to State Publications at the Alabama Department of Archives and History:
A Tips, Tools, and Treasures Workshop on October 11, 2008

Join us Saturday morning, October 11, at 10:00 to learn about the state publications collections of the Alabama Department of Archives and History (ADAH). Archivist Mike Breedlove will discuss the wealth of information available in publications of Alabama state agencies, and offer tips for locating them using the ADAH catalog and finding aids. Particular emphasis will be placed on accessing state publications through the internet. This is the tenth program in the Tips Tools, and Treasures series offered by the Archives on the second Saturday of each month.

Tips, Tools, and Treasures is a workshop series designed to introduce researchers to the vast array of research materials available at the ADAH, and to familiarize them with department services. Archives staff will present these programs the second Saturday of each month in 2008 from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. The programs are free and do not require pre-registration. All programs will take place at ADAH, 624 Washington Ave., Montgomery. A complete list of topics and dates follows:
