Letter of Introduction



  Letter of Introduction - In the nineteenth century no one would consider seeking new employment in a town or city unless they carried with them a letter of introduction from a friend or associate who was willing to vouch for the character and qualifications of the individual.

  Suggested activity: Suppose one of your friends is moving to Atlanta; write a letter of introduction to someone you "know" who might be able to assist your friend become comfortably situated there.
