The Friends of the Alabama Archives is a non-profit organization that helps the Alabama Department of Archives and History serve the public through conservation projects, exhibits, and educational programs.|
For as little as $25 a year, you can be a Friend and know that you are helping the oldest archival agency in the nation carry out its mission to "tell the story of the people of Alabama by preserving records and artifacts of historical value and promoting a better understanding of Alabama history."
